Cellphones
This topic, cell phones, was one of my topics for the Term Paper but since it was not included in the top 3, it was cut. So I decided to just put it in my media log.
Cell phones, as we all know are technical advancements in technology that enable us to connect with people everywhere. But when does it become bad?
Cellphones or I may say, texting can be very addictive and it can mislead us. Texting can be good if with good intentions. However, the use of cell phone or texting for educational purposes has become an alibi to text our friends for no reason at all. Then later on we forget about the important things to us students – school work. And the effect of that, not-so-good grades even failing ones.
Cellphones are there to help us communicate with our friends but sometimes we tend to abuse it and in fact, we use much of our time staring into our cell phone, continuously pressing letters, numbers and symbols. Haven’t you heard that staring for a long time can be bad to our brain cells? (HAHA.) Well, that was just a rumor but hey rumors can also be correct.
I am just saying that we should know when to use these cell phones and try as much as possible to limit texting. As you can see, unlimited texting is in effect nowadays but we can avoid it right? Just lessening it would already be okay. :)
