Starbucks

Starbucks

“1 Mocha Frappe, Cream based please.”

Expensive as it can be, like it or not, you can’t resist their sensational coffees, right?

I don’t know what is it with their coffees that teenagers even older people can’t resist. Even with its high prices, people keep on buying their products. What’s with Starbucks anyway? I don’t have anything against Starbucks because I do, too, buy from them but sometimes, it gets too irrational to buy from them.

Like this Christmas Season, teenagers spend their money, buying their coffee just to get the Annual Starbucks Planner which is just the same with others planners they sell in National Bookstore or Department Stores. But they tell you that it’s different – and why is that? It is because the planner has the logo of Starbucks. So, now, Starbucks is a status sign?

If you go outside the Philippines, you’ll see that Starbucks is just part of their daily living and it would not really help you be a V.I.P.. My point is here is that we should know what things are needed and necessary for living. Nevertheless, still spend for recreational purposes, within reason, of course.

And you know, as what they say, “Mahirap na ang buhay ngayon, kaya magtipid!” :)
