Princess Hours

"If you feel pain, I feel pain also.” – Yincheng/ LV of Princess Hours.

I did not really watch this Koreanovela on primetime but because of my friends who kept on telling me to watch this, I tried watching one.

After watching, I found myself confused – I did not know how the story went or how it flows, who were the characters and etc. However, my confusion did not last long when I got hold of a DVD copy of Princess Hours. We started watching it yesterday and we’re not halfway yet. One episode is an hour long and to finish the whole series, you have to allot 24 hours of your time.

We, my sister and I, are in episode 10 (but I did some watching while she was gone, so I’m in episode 12. Hehe. :p) and a lot has happened from Xin (Gian) marrying Shencaijing (Janelle) to Xin double crossing Shen by being with Minxiaolin and LV (Troy) falling in love with Shen. With all those happening, I can’t stop myself from watching the series and I can say, like my friends, I’m hooked to it.

I find the story funny and even the setting, too. Imagine, an old and traditional palace having flat screen TVs on each of their rooms. Isn’t it funny? Also, the characters give out different facial emotions with corresponding humorous lines that entertain the audience, just like the first hit Koreanovela, Lovers in Paris. In the story, I prefer LV than Xin because for me, LV and Shen has more chemistry than Xin and Shen. You might think I am bias when you read this but, I think, LV is cuter and more handsome than Xin and is more suitable for the Crown Prince’s title.

There are more episodes to come, more events, more kilig moments and more comical scenes, so you better watch out or you’ll be left behind.

Princess Hours is after Maging Sino Ka Man on Primetime Bida, only on ABS-CBN. :)
